Over the Rainbow
Over the Rainbow is a secluded Vegetarian Guest House in Cardigan Bay, 3 miles from the west Wales coast. A restored Georgian mansion nestled amongst acres of woodland and gardens with idyllic views across the rolling Welsh countryside. A warm welcome awaits you at Over the Rainbow. We are open for B&B from early February to the end of November each year.
You can stay B&B for some well earned time out, or hire the venue exclusively for small group holidays, residential retreats, family celebrations and wedding receptions. Enjoy a relaxed stay in a country house, where you can completely unwind and relax just watching the stars and listening to the silence.
We offer well appointed, sumptuous centrally heated bedroom accommodation including single, double or twin ensuite rooms, with décor reflecting influences of female myths & legends from around the world. Guests also have use of a communal guest lounge / library and large dining room.
We also offer space for retreats and groups. The seclusion and peace of the house lends itself well to retreats, courses and workshops. An inspiring and creative space, practical for movement workshops. An intimate, cosy yet spacious house, homely and practical whilst retaining the quirks of a bygone age.
The retreat is run on ethical and environmentally responsible principles. We use renewable sources for heating, hot water and electricity; we also source much of our produce locally and from our own garden and polytunnels. We are members of Green Key Global, Greentraveller, endorsed by the Vegetarian Society and have been awarded Gold standard by Green Tourism Association.
