TerrAzoia was created with a passion for nature and well being. Located in the Valley of Quinta do Rio Touro, Azoia, TerrAzoia occupies approximately 2 hectares of organic farmland and wild inhabitant with trees such as cork, oak, pine, acacia and eucalyptus trees.

Agro-eco-sustainable tourism

A rural home, Casa das Hortas, is the hub for the nature, agro-eco-sustainable tourism, along with environmental, ecological, nutrition education, alternative therapies, a variety of workshops, in a setting of permaculture principles.

Casa das Hortas

Casa das Hortas offers 4 different rooms that have been updated in a sustainable manner, using older pieces and restored, recycled materials and whenever possible the usage of natural wood from the farm. We are in the process of making it even more sustainable with solar panels and wood oven to warm the water and space. All faucets have flow reducers to avoid water waste. All of our windows are well insulated.

Vegetarian & vegan breakfast

An included buffet style breakfast is fully vegetarian and we can easily accommodate vegans and gluten-free guests.

By foot only property

As you step out of the Casa das Hortas you will have a sensory garden and to the side you can visit the organic farm or walk up the hill for nature walks.

Cars are not allowed at TerrAzoia. There is a parking area at the top of the main road, and a bus stop as well. This is a by foot only property.
