The guest house „Felsengrund Alcyone“ in Bad Suderode, a spa town in the Harz Mountains, is a wonderful green oasis with art, culture and nature, where you can enjoy life with all senses.

Felsengrund had been a monastery for a long time before it became a guest house.

We were able to buy this property and restored it affectionately.

Concerning the colors and decoration, all the rooms are unique. Each guest room has a private bathroom with shower, WC and hairdryer.

You can choose between 1 to 5 persons rooms. Standard and spa rooms are available in different price ranges.

Our breakfast buffet is organic and vegetarian.

We have a beautiful group room with a wonderful view of the mountains, a breakfast room, a sauna, a massage room and a garden with several patios.

The spa apartment has an inviting balcony to enjoy the sunrise, the stars and the moon until late at night.

Briefly, this is a place to relax and to enjoy this beautiful environment.

The hotel has a spa with an infrared sauna, a steam bath, a shower and a bathtub for oil – and sea salt baths as well as detoxification foot bath.

You can create you own wellness program with us, either alone or with your partner.

We have a professional bone measuring device which can measure your bone density. In addition we give advise about nutrition and lifestyle.

The Harz mountains are enchantingly beautiful. The large forests invite you for hiking and cycling and also to enjoy the peace and silence, clean air and mountain streams in every season.

The half-timbered towns with the small narrow alleys and beautiful facades, take you back to yesteryear.

Quedlingburg is a Unesco World Heritage – a city of art, culture, concerts and much more. Discover Quedlingburg at christmas and visit “Advent im Höfe” in December, this is a special experience.
