Archontiko Angelou
Hotel Archontiko Angelou was built in 1895 only 250 meters away from the beach of Alinda (a 5 minute walk). It is situated in a peaceful garden of 5.500 square meters. Huge trees, over 100 years old, surround the house and offer us their valuable shade in summer months.
Our vegetarian breakfast is served under those trees and guests can enjoy the garden during the day and night. Tables and chairs are scattered in between the hibiscus and bougainvilleas and under the ficus and the jacaranda tree.
And the beach is only 5 minutes walk away. You can dive into the sea and watch the sun rising before breakfast.
Organic garden
Our organic garden has a lot of variety: olive trees, carob tree, grapes, figs, prickly pears, myrte, pomegranates, lemons, oranges, tangerines, grapefruit, guavas, plums, apricots, tomatoes, peppers, aubergines, cucumbers and other vegetables, greens and herbs.
There is also a Yoga space in the garden under the huge trees.
Our vegetarian breakfast
The breakfast we serve is homemade and vegetarian. We buy organic as much as possible. We make gluten free bread and cakes, grain and sugar free sweets, raw flax seed crackers, almond milk etc.
The rooms
Archontiko Angelou which is a listed building now, was originally built as a summer house. It can accommodate up to 24-25 people in 10 rooms. The feeling is like staying as a guest in a house, maybe of another century. The rooms are individually decorated with antique furniture and simple traditional style.
The original layout of the house has been kept with the addition of bathrooms to all rooms. The house is ideal for relaxing holidays, family reunions, weddings, retreats and seminars.
