Bio B&B La Fanciullaccia

The Bio B&B La Fanciullaccia is located on the first chain of hills that you meet on the road which goes from Pisa to Volterra, in the countryside of Santo Pietro Belvedere.

The B&B is in an old country house dating back to the end of the ‘800, several times renovated and enlarged. Since we have moved in 1999, we have done some changes trying to save the traditional architectonic elements.

The house includes 2 outbuildings, one where is a bricks wood-fire oven and another one is a tools and bicycles garage and workshop, on which roof is disposed the photovoltaic system.

The room

The big room we offer for your stay has been made out from the wine-vat room. It has its own bathroom with shower and is furnished with family furnitures from the thirthies as a bedroom with doublebed, but it can host 4 people, using a sofa-bed; also a baby-bed can be added.
The room and the bathroom are cleaned everyday, linen and towels are changed every 3 days.

The meals

Our breakfast is made with organic food, some of them self produced. We offer lunch or dinner on request.

Optional services

We don´t have a television, but can offer a service ADSL Wi-Fi for a few hours per day and you can use our washing machine during the day.

At no cost, you can use our mountain bikes. You can keep yours in a closed garage and use our workshop.

We will give you any kind of info about transports, itineraries, museums, local events and sites to visit; but we will not help you to get info about events based on hunting, animals exploitation or animals eating.

We can arrange company visits at any local producers.
We have agreements with a couple of restaurants (less than 15 km away) that can also offer vegan menu, and from whom you get a small discount.
