Located on the gentle slopes of the Bavarian Forest in the south of Germany, our 43 m² lower ground floor holiday apartment offers a private and secluded setting. Nestled right next to the forest, you can take a break from the hustle and bustle of life and soothe your soul.

We’ve designed our holiday apartment with loving care – enjoy your stay!

Large glass panels in the living room offer stunning views directly into nature. With a bit of luck, you can spot wild animals such as deer and hares from your couch, often grazing just a few meters away from the holiday apartment. Or, starting in spring, hear the woodland birds singing in the morning and fighting for their territory while you’re still in bed.

The fully equipped eat-in kitchen is ideal for two persons and allows for preparing vegan or vegetarian dishes.
Relax on our sunny terrace. Here you can soak up fresh air and let your gaze wander over our garden and the stately trees.

What to do

The Bavarian Forest offers endless opportunities for all kinds of activities in nature. For example, go for a hike through the nearby wild-romantic Saußbach gorge. Or take a tour over the steep ridges of the ’Steinerne Meer’ (lit. sea of stone) on mount Dreisessel.

Besides the small town of Waldkirchen, you should also pay a visit to Passau, the so-called City of Three Rivers – less than 30 km away. Passau with its unique flair is also known as ‘Venice of Bavaria’ due to its picturesque townscape and architecture.

When booking our holiday apartment, you will automatically be issued with an ‘aktivCARD Bayerischer Wald’. This card grants free admission to more than 130 leisure offerings. These include outdoor and indoor swimming pools, ski lifts and ski rentals, museums, recreational and cultural facilities and even free e-car rental.
