La Maison du Vert

La Maison du Vert is an established vegetarian & vegan hotel & restaurant in the Pays d’Auge region of Normandy and has been awarded with the Viva! Award for Best Hotel for Vegetarians and Vegans.

La Maison du Vert is situated in a stunning valley with 3.5 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens. We are the perfect place to come for a relaxing holiday or short break. There are 3 lovely rooms in the hotel and we also have a cottage in the hotel grounds ‘La Petite Maison Blanche’ which sleeps up to 6 people.

Come and relax in our beautiful gardens, walk or cycle in the peaceful countryside, explore the local bustling markets and picturesque towns, admire glorious chateaux and gardens. The delightful coast resorts of Honfleur, Deauville and Trouville are less than an hour away. We are perfectly placed for those visiting the WW2 museums and D-day landings.

All our rooms have spectacular views along the unspoiled Touques Valley and village. Lovingly furnished to a high standard, the rooms are cleaned daily for your comfort. The beds are all good quality ensuring a good nights sleep and we make sure there is always a vase of fresh cut flowers from our garden in the bedrooms. The toiletries provided in the rooms are of course vegetable based and non-animal tested.
We serve a delicious breakfast, which includes lots of homemade goodies.

Over the past 9 years our restaurant has gained an excellent reputation with locals and tourists visiting from all over the world. Our cuisine reflects this, offering flavor sensations from all corners of the globe, perfectly combined in our completely vegetarian kitchen.

All our dishes are home made with the freshest produce available, the majority being our own home grown organic vegetables, fruit and herbs. We believe that the best eating experience is created out of vegetarian, organic, environmentally friendly food. Our drinks menu features a wide range of French organic wines, local organic ciders, organic French beer and homemade liqueurs and cordials.
