Sleeping Strawberry Guesthouse

Sleeping Strawberry Guesthouse is a woman only, eco-friendly house at Sinchon/Hongdae, the center of youth culture in Seoul.

Self-served breakfast(vegan breads, fruit, soy milk and teas / sweet potato for gluten intolerant), internet, wifi, linen and towel, handmade shampoo bar made from natural oils are offered free. Self-catering is available. The guests can join the activities of the guesthouse, e.g. hiking, vegetable gardening, cooking.

Sleeping Strawberry pursues the travel resource center for woman backpacker.
UE, the hostess is also a publisher of Alternative Culture and edited “Do You Like to Travel?”.
She likes travelingl, walking and cooking. She walked the way to Santiago de Compostela from Le Puy-en-Veley in 2007.

You can wash your hair with hand-made shampoo bar, and rinse with a couple of drops of vinegar.

You can wash your clothes by hand, with a couple of drops of vinegar or EM(effective microorganisms) instead of washing powder, spin and dry them. You can also use 24 hours coin laundry service near the guesthouse.

We have an air conditioner, but ask you to use electric fan usual day except roasting hot days.
We are trying to serve local vegetarian foods.

We have a water purifier by red clay ceramic ball. You don’t have to buy bottle water.
