Vegan Minshuku Sanbiki Neko
Vegan Minshuku Sanbiki Neko is a vegan bed and breakfast facility located in Kyoto. It is a fusion of traditional Japanese tatami style rooms with a western style dining room and social area. Photos of the construction are being posted on their website. It is a purpose built design created from their experience of travelling around Japan.
Vegan breakfast
The owners, Helen & Craig, are originally from Australia and have both been vegetarian for over 27 years. The minshuku will give vegans and vegetarians the opportunity to visit Kyoto and stay in an environment that is attuned to their needs. However, everyone is welcome to come and stay with them, vegan, vegetarian or those just looking for a tasty and healthy start to the day.
A Japanese style vegan breakfast will be provided for all guests, with the food being based around the seasons. If there is enough demand they will also offer takeout lunches for guests.
They can provide a list of vegan and vegan friendly restaurants to guests and can assist guests to identify vegan and vegetarian food items available in convenience stores.
